Asbestos

Surveys/Inspections: The EPA requires an asbestos survey prior to the disturbance of building materials for renovation or demolition purposes regardless of when the building was constructed.  In addition, OSHA requires a survey to be completed prior to contractors performing work that might disturb asbestos materials.

TEC can tailored asbestos surveys and/or inspections to your specific use and/or purpose from information gathering for safety program purposes to a comprehensive inspection for demolition. At the completion of the survey a written report will be provided.

Project Management: Abatement project specifications, oversight and air monitoring services can also be provided. 

Management Plans: TEC can prepare a written plan for the facility to help management, maintain and ultimately remove asbestos materials from within buildings.  These plans are required for schools; however, are good business practices for all buildings.
